James Lee
CEO & Co-Founder
James has 15 years of experience in photonics research and commercialization. He holds a PhD in Applied Physics from MIT and previously led photonic integration programs at Intel's silicon photonics group. He has authored 30+ peer-reviewed publications and holds 12 patents in photonic devices.
Dr. Nina Patel
Chief Scientist & Co-Founder
Dr. Patel is a leading expert in silicon nitride photonics and nonlinear optics. She received her PhD from Stanford and was a postdoctoral researcher at NIST before joining the founding team. Her research on low-loss waveguide platforms underpins Wove Photonic's core technology advantage.
Ryan Matthews
VP Engineering
Ryan oversees all hardware and systems engineering at Wove Photonic. With a background in photonic integrated circuit design at Lumentum and II-VI, he brings deep expertise in transitioning photonic systems from research prototypes to manufacturable products. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
